i saw bend it like beckham tonight. it is very good. everyone should see it. its so cute. albeit the predictability and happy ending, it is so festive and happy, you will walk out smiling. go go go!

today had been such boring day. blah! after waking up early in the morning from my pissy, unintentional sleep falling last night, i did nothing. loafed around for a bit, had late breakfast/early lunch. i decided that i was sleepy again and slept until 2pm. then ran some errands and went to meet my friend at the ghettoplex village theater to see beckham. now i am here. bah! boring!

this guy from work, jake, is leaving town for like 6 weeks to go back "home" to idaho (as in i da ho, u da pimp) to make some quick money. leaving sat morning. do people make that much money in idaho that quickly in 5 wks? i think i overheard last night that he and some people are gathering to "party", probably aka cheap run-down bar drinking. i know i would not care to go, but i feel off that he didnt call me to tell me to go. hmm... stupid.

tomorrow, i have orientation at uic! woohoo!! what will we do for 5 hours?? i have no idea what to expect, though! i hope they feed us- with something yummy.
