done with school! woohoo!

why am i still here at the computer lab, when i can easily email and sip iced chai from the comfort of my own home? oh wait, maybe my computer is too ancient?

so, i am looking to buy a laptop. how do you guys feel about the Dell 600m? it seems very nice! it is a bit expensive though... since most other models are way cheaper, and for a desktop i can buy something nice for half that price!!! my friends clara and cliff bought theirs around christmas from moo moo gateway. still seems a bit bulky and one of them already has problems with the hard drive?? dr phil has this schpiffy spankin' tablet pc from compaq but he doesnt recommend it cuz its too expensive for what it does. ibooks are expensive too and i better stick with "pc"s... my brother bought a fujitsu, but only because he has *loyalty* for AMD athlon since he worked on that project. good price though! whatever. whats all of these fluffy service, warranty, extra crap options? are they necessary?

what about printers? i never do anything so exciting, but i do want a multi-function one. barb said that hp has good ones, but how much should i spend? oy!
