week for thought....

what a "funny" week...
-so this morning on eric&kathy, they were having people call in about age gaps between couples. the question was, if the guy is 25, and for you as a woman, what would be the *absolute* age cut off? (feel free to answer, my friends)

a few people called. some were experiencing it now, and some just answered hypothetically. this led me to think about jamie (who, btw, is still hot despite my helpless crush on phil) and his girlfriend. jamie is 26 and his girlfriend has lived almost twice the years he has. hmmm... and then i was thinking, hmmm, what IF i were dating someone 36? will that be more socially acceptable for a girl to date an older man than for a younger guy to date an older woman? what if i were an attractive male in his 30s and date somone like ME?

-rejections up the galore! so i received my rejection letter from midwestern university college of pharmacy. i was originally wait listed by them back in may while i was accepted to UIC with much happiness. hello? a degree from the u of c has to mean something, right? i felt kind of weird about the rejection letter, although i know that it doesnt matter at all as i am already 4 weeks into uic pharm and i am enjoying myself. i think i would be much happier at uic anyways since it is situated in such comprehensive medical and medical research center with many opportunities. additionally, i get to live in the fabulous city of chicago!!! woohoo!!

-more rejections! the fight is on with the blond! ;)
