starbucks wishes you happy holidays...

happy halloween!!! has everyone been to the google site today? hee, its so cute, makes me giggle.

anyways, my life has been boring (and messy), so i will again talk about starbucks. southside sent us an update about a kid he saw today. apparently this kid was dressed in full starbucks BARKISTA outfit. for those of you not obsessed with starbucks, barkista is this stuffed doggie that starbucks introduced earlier this summer as part of their "limited time collection." i bought one for my friend for her birthday. the barkista doggies are actually really adorable and soft to the touch. hmmm... i suppose starbucks is really in all parts of our lives now; still, i didnt know there are starbucks halloween costumes.... what if i go trick-or-treat in my barista outfit. is that considered a costume or corporate business casual?

anywho, happy holidays! starbucks (my store, at least) has launched our holiday drinks. our shelves are stocked fully with peppermint syrup and gingerbread syrup. our pre-holiday pastray case features the molasses cookies, gingerbread biscotti, day-long caramel apple muffins, and pumpkin scones. FYI, later we will also bring out the peppermint brownie, cranberry bliss bars, and something lemony/gingery that i cant remember the name to. btw, they are TO DIE FOR-- almost as good as cafe ba-ba-reeba's chocolate roulade (and thier tapas). in our back kitchen, we also have fun holiday wrappers and boxes and bags, but they probably wont be out until much later. next time you go to starbucks, after you've had a caramel cider, be sure to order a peppermint mocha (with red sprinkles! :) ), gingerbread latte or mocha. you should also have a cinnamon caramel sauce mocha. mm mmm mmmmm!

hmmm, i think i am going out with calathalamantha and her friends tonight. she is into ambiguities and older men. hmmm... OH! thats why you asked if jamie's trish has a brother! last night at work, she came to "visit." and i went to the back to inform jamie that, hey you gf is here, while laura said, hey your "lover" is here. apparently he was quite disturbed by such statement. well.... little does he know, we are ALL very disturbed. later on i was having a discussion of this incident with my shift sup. clara and she said that she could understand the relationship more if jamie were a very mature guy. however, he is not very mature. maybe she is immature? hmmm, who knows! :p i was like, well, she has to be really rich though and it makes me feel better that at least she has something most of us dont have. if jamie went for someone that elderly that looks her age with not a lot of money/plastic, that'd be sad. so course when i said "something we dont have" i meant money, but clara jokingly said, you mean jamie? haha, funny funny.

oy! i have go buy candy now to entertain the children that "might" come to my house! boooo!!!!
