should this be normal?

so i realized that this past friday was another one of the many friday night/early saturday mornings in which i got virtually NO sleep. last weekend we were being "hazed" (hush hush!) til early morning. previous several weekends i was either going out or also stuck at super early or super late kappa psi activities. of course, being a loyal, friendly starbucks barista, i always have to work on saturday mornings. halloween night i went out with some kids from school and their friends and i got home around 3-ish. really, that was not so late, but jay and ed (they had to go back to their dorm at uic after our bar-hopping) decided to call (when i was about to fall asleep) to make sure that calantha and i got home safely. hmmm, good intentions-- nevertheless disturbed my sleep. so i managed to pseudo rest for about 2 hrs and had to get up again for work. after i got off work yesterday afternoon, i tried to pseudo study. oh my gosh, it was freakin 4:30pm and i was SOOOOO tired and wanting to doze off left and right!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!!! i shouldnt be this tired! dont most young people go out all the time and not sleep a lot? why cant i stay out late consistently and work efficiently anymore? am i getting old? why? dont most students not sleep until past midnight during the week and still party on weekends and not sleep? what is wrong with me? sigh.... :(

this had been an ok halloween weekend, like most of my other halloween weekends as an "adult." friday night i went to calantha's friend's apt (about 5 blocks away near racine and montana... the same street where the depaul rapist had been active.... hmm.... fun for thought). this is stupid cuz LP and lakeview are considered very safe neighborhoods but this recent rapist news does bother me a bit. anywho, we just kinda hung out with food and drinks for a bit. c's friends carved two pumpkins and c and i were making roasted pumpkin seeds. quite yummy. last time i did it i totally burned those little things! :p haha, funny story. this one girl got locked in the bathroom by accident! the doorb knob would turn but the door would not open. all of us gathered around the door, pulling/pushing/yanking and trying to get the door to open! nothing! i even got a screw driver trying to play macgeyver (sp?), nothing! hahah, just when anu was gonna go get her landlord, the door opened! hahahha, in restrospect, it seemed very funny but i guess if i were the girl stuck in the bathroom, i probably would've freaked! ahahahah. then we went out to some bars, but there were just too many people everywhere.

ugh! today would be a studious studying day! ideally efficient endless studying day. fun fun! may the force be with me and chrissie doesnt get sleepy. our roles/environment exam really should be easy but for some reason i just dont do well in these sci classes that focus on social issues. most of the time i just dont find it interesting! nevertheless, must not complain, must study... after i dress, eat lunch, and gather my stuff. procrastination!
