sniff sniff

today is my last whole day in CHICAGO in the year 2003, probably. and it is going to be a busy day of suitcase packing, sangria ingredients buying, mandatory holiday shopping, house cleaning, and dish doing. BAHHHH!!! i think laundry will be for saved for mom and dad's house. HA!

my ex-college roommate and long-time friend kate (or katie-poo) is visiting from NYC with her new fiancee. it should be exciting as i have not seen her in over a year and we both have been busy doing different things and been bad with keeping in touch. i miss her. yay!!! i think we are having dinner with some other college friends at this cute little neighborhood restaurant, Prego, down the block. i have not been there, but i drive by it all the time and it looks totally cute and i read good things about it. yay!!! i will also get to check out her new engagement ring. HA! we heard that he disregarded her wishes for the choice of metal because he thought what he chose looks better. oh well. heh heh. i will tell her about my tiffany&co dream and my lack of real diamonds.

tomorrow i have to work in the morning and then am heading to pseudo WI with julia gulia for the noverini gathering. another yay!!!!

then sunday i start my long, arduous drive to houston for christmas. ugh! i hope i stay awake through all those middle of no where! bah!
