today was such stupid day in terms of school, and, ugh (!!!!!), why is it that the more i realize how much i have to study, the less i want to study?? arg! so on fridays we normally have only one class- physio, and for some of the more unfortunate individuals such as me- we also have a boring lab in the afternoon for our roles class. our physio today was actually moved up to yesterday- we had two physio classes yesterday- so for some people they would not even have to come to school at all!! sadly for me, i still had to go for like 2 hrs just for the lab; then this entire day became such waste of time cuz i slept in the morning, and then after i came home my friend kellean came and played cuz her fiancee is on call tonight.
it was a fun time with kel and since i actually did *not* feel like studying, it was all good. we did some el cheapo shopping and i realized that there is a BBW very close by me by the shopping strip with marshalls and tjmaxx. yay! i no longer have to drive to the century mall (by where i used to live) on clark and diversey and spend hrs finding parking! then all day i was in a mood to buy sweaters cuz im in painful cramps and in need of warm, soft, and fuzzily huggable things, so i bought a sweater. then we went to potbelly's sandwich to get dinner. guess who we ran into!?????
TERENCE! ha! no, hes none of the starbucks skanks we all are so familiar with. terence was the head manager at my starbucks when i started. he left us in the beginning of oct. well, his salary was $capped out$$ at starbucks as a manager and he has no more room to go up except for being a district manager. unfortunately, there wasnt an opportunity. so he got a new position as an asst manager at potbellys. but oh my god, imagine what they are paying for real managers if their starting salary for a new asst manager is higher than that of starbucks head manager at a high traffic first level store!
but do speak of starbucks whores. haha. so yesterday when i was at work, i saw this girl from school, maggie, studying. polishbasia, maggie is a polish girl!!! her family is very polish, apparently. her name is really maggorzata. heh heh, of course, and so conveniently, where dr phil and his study buddy picked to sit down was by this comfy chair next to maggie and the coffee table. and you guys know how busy my store gets after 9pm- with all the students and young professionals studying for things- its just packed and seriously, people are always shoulder to shoulder. anywho, maggie had offered to lend me some notes when she saw me behind the espresso bar at some down time. so sweet. after i got off work, i went to her to return her notes. of course, walking by phil, he cant help but tease me; and of course, i didnt even have to introduce phil to maggie cuz phil had obviously started flirting.
hahaha, so when i saw maggie at lab today, i was like, oh my god, how late did you stay to study last night? (cuz when phil and his buddy left and when i left, she told me she was gonna stay for 4, 5 more hrs!) shes like, oh only until 2am cuz i just got so tired and the place is still kinda distracting. then she started hinting how the place is a bit too trendy for her taste and she prefers the mom and pop kinda coffee shop where people wouldnt really go just to be there or to flirt. heh heh, i couldnt stop laughing, i just blurted out, OOOH, YOU MEAN LIKE PHIL!? heh heh, then we started commenting how such a big FLIRT phil is. she told me that when phil saw her talking to me last night, he was like, oh! do you know christine? she then told him, yeah we go to school together, do YOU know christine too? HAHHA, then phil told her, oh yeah of course, CHRISTINE AND I GO WAY BACK! so in addition to the fact that maggie hates doctors, and after seeing him visiting his crew, and him having said that, maggie was just like- dude dont even waste my time i am trying to study!!! HA HA HA!
oh my god, i nearly laughed to death when maggie told me this. it was too funny. whos the real starbucks whore now!?
