random recap
hello, kidlets. not much has happened since my last update. so today i shall entertain you with much useless random recap...
1) still can't sleep very well at night. what IS the dealio, yo!
2)
on friday night, the girls and i went to sangria cafe, this new tapas place opened several months ago on the clubby weed street. completely disappointed and unimpressed. i dont know if it's because i went with too much expectation or what, but i just felt that their tapas dishes were simply so-so and the quality and presentation of the dishes totally did not match the price they charged. BOO! if i had the correct ingredients at home, the dishes i could prepare could be just as good! their sangria was boring and watered down. again, i can make better. overall, i was just disappointed. cafe ba-ba-reeba and twist(unfortunately i think they closed) were 10X better!!
3) often times we hear people and books say that people change, and for the most part change for the better. now then, how does one define "better"? is it better for the person? better for their friends and family? better for their bank account? when we all got together on friday night-- i felt that there was an uncomfortable strain among us. we all used to be good friends in college, but since last year there has been many career and academic changes happening to each of us. we dont see, email, or call each other nearly as much anymore. i know everyone is changing, probably for the better for our own selves, but i feel that the friendship has cooled. perhaps it's just me, but i felt that we were strangers having dinner together? it totally saddened me that what i used to cherish so much is no longer. of course, i made new friends and i try to include the new and the old in social outings and the old seems to be too busy for the new... or is it the old moving on to their new and i am disregarded like old news?

5) barbarini yelled at me and gave me formidable assignment. boohoo!! i still think people should be unconditionally love me or be in love with me...
6) today, tuesday, is allen's 22nd birthday. what a young'en. happy birthday. :)
