what to say today!?

in light of barbarini's and friends' "ok" on postings of random blogs, i shall post with useless updates...

1) yay!!! i am leaving for DC in one day!!! yay!!! what should i pack? what will i need? what are we doing!? OMG! i just found out on expedia.com that the same trip that i purchased 2 wks ago (chi-->dca, ewr-->chi) i could purchase now for super cheap!!! around $140!!!! dude, so unfair. so yes, fyi, if you wanna go to DC or NYC in the next week or two, buy your tix now. the roundtrip fare is only ~$140. SO UNFAIR!

2) calories, calories, calories! from the fabulous extreme tracker i have noticed that people keep hitting my blog page when they search for starbucks beverage contents! jebus my friends, if you are having a starbucks frappuccino, the last thing you should think about is the nutrition content. its like, if you are so set on buying pair of true manolo blahniks, you are not supposed to think about how much they cost. why? they cost a lot! soooo, enjoy your frappuccinos already. but, if you must, FYI, you can check out the calorie and nutrition content of all your favorite beverages at the starbucks nutrition page! stop asking your barista- they cant remember all the numbers in their heads!

3) today i had lunch with clammybake at frontera grill before going in to work. yummy! its a pseudo frou frou restaurant that serves nuevo latino/mexicano food. it is actually very similar to adobo grill and salpicon, both in old town near my starbucks. very good. go!

4) yesterday was allen's birthday. after he came back from his birthday dinner to retrieve me from work, we met up with another high school friend of his at matisse for some cheapo but tasty martinis. i really *do* enjoy matisse a lot. when i used to live by the lake, barbarini and juliagulia and i would go there all the time on wednesdays, eat like piggies, and watch andrew firestone. awww, good times. i like this place because you can get really yummy bar munchies and cheap drinks. every night they feature different specials. allen had 2 martinis. i think he had a good time, which was good for him and... fun for us to watch. wheeee

5) what! i have to work again so soon? waaahh!
