would you rather...
here is the question for the day:
would you rather be living with a nice tv with full cable/satellite capabilities or a nice computer will internet capabilities!?? and why?
as many of you may or may not know, i cannot live without my computer, my baby tingaroo. i was having some stupid problems with my computer and internet for the past... 2 days, and ONLY 2 days, and i already thought that i was gonna DIE!!! waaahhh!!!! it was the weekend and i never receive anything fun anyway but i was still feeling that i would be falling off the face of the planet without any outside connection/communication!! ugh!!
so my life had been a bit pseudo dramatic with a little something from the old and from the new. bah!!! luckily, the weekend was pretty good and i got to relax... well, as much relaxation as i can with dealing with stupid cranky customers at starbucks.
on friday afternoon after work, i went to CB and purchased the white vase that i had been looking for to match the yellow and the sage ones that kelladam gave me for being a "secondary sponsor" at their wedding! thanks!!! well, thats why when you go shopping with people you like, you should keep dropping hints about what you like. tee hee. anywho, i was looking for the white colette vase last week when i went with clams, but i could not find them. i was so sad! thankfully, i saw 5 lonely ones sitting on a bookshelf when i went back. yay!!!
that night i visited kelladam. they had just returned from italia from their honeymoon. they also got a new baby-- a cute little 3-wk puppy. i dont even enjoy dogs or cartoonish dogs that much, but i enjoyed playing with the puppy. its soooo TINY!!! its smaller than most average stuffed animal, and weighed less than my shoe! so cute.
saturday i went with the noverines, franko, lisa, and cookie bob to ravinia. we brought wines and cheese and yummy things and had a piggy picninc. wait, actually, i think *i* was the only one that never stopped eating!! even franko pointed that out, "oh my god, you hadnt stopped eating since we sat down!" HA! oh my god, i was so jealous of lisa's fabulous fun stripey picnic set. I WANT THEM NOW!!! it was a fun time! i haven't gone before (everyone always ditched me for their so called significant others.. BAH!). it was nice to lie down, enjoy frou frou food, and listen to music with your friends...
sunday, yesterday, was the annual pride parade in boystown. i, of course, had to work, so that the others at the store that actually connect with the gayness at the deeper level can go wild at the parade. later allen roo and i saw saved. it was good, albeit the very predictable plot lines and teen characters. the story very much reminded me of my frou frou high school and my southern baptist church. though it may seem riduclous to many to have life like ones depicted in the movie, it was still fun in high school with those camps and the "give it up to G-O-D" shoutouts, while it lasted. hee hee ;)
oh my, i actually get to sleep in tomorrow, and i will! i need to start looking for apartments again! ugh!
