arthritis in my hand and arm

bleh! as many of you may or may not know, i have been busy painting and sweating at my new apartment, with lisa and polishbasia's help (oh, and clams too, for one occasion). i swear, i feel like i have developed arthritis in my arms from the constant grasping, rolling, and dipping motion. in my right hand, especially, it hurts for me to curl my fingers to make a fist or to grab a cup. wait, maybe that explains the recent flying cups phenonmenon at starbucks... hmm... i wonder if i have developed arthritis or some kinda inflammation in my joints from grasping the paint rollers too hard... :(

so, as of today, every room in my apt is painted. i still have not decided if i want to add a second coat to the nice green bedroom. it looks fine as is right now, but some areas are not as greenly colored and you can see the slight white streaks. the problem is not bad though-- that's why my natural laziness wants to not add a second coat of paint. plus, i will have to buy a bit more paint so that will cost extra $$ too! hmmm... what to do what to do!!!

i still need to finish the front door, and repaint the one and only brown door in the apt (with help of course!!). uggggghhh, and then the dirty part comes when i have to clean up the place before this saturday, my moving day!! NOTE, there is *still* time to volunteer for helping me move this saturday!!! hurry!!! :)

this weekend i hung out with my friend from college, manoj. we went to see harold and kumar go to white castle. omg, what a great movie that depicts the stereotypes of modern american society!!! HILARIOUS!!! the asian dude, john cho, is the MILF guy from american pie. i think everyone that is any kind of asian, has close asian friends, and that is in his/her mid or late 20s will appreciate the immature humor. see, it is not that the pseudo racist humor here is slapstick or vulgar, it is the way that an asian person is typically viewed in the society. one may not readily recognize the stereotype, but if you think about it, you see it: from the kung fu moves, to "thank you, come again", to the techno, to asian religious groups, to fobbies getting down on the dance floor, to brilliant mcat scores/i-banking jobs...etc. i really think it is a funny and great movie. !!!!!

woooo, and whoever came to my tastefully simple party and ordered products, they are in now! come get them!
