burrrrrrr
dude, it's cold out there!!!! actually, i *love* this weather/temperature. slightly chilly, but warm when you are inside. i'd prefer a sunny sky, because the slight chill in the sun always reminds me of my best days at the u of c, walking through and hanging out in the quads, surrounded by the gorgeous gothic architecture every fall quarter. :)
still, fall quarter doesn't start until almost OCTOBER. this is middle of AUGUST, and we should be bathing in our own sweat... or at least be hot! instead, i have to cuddle up in my wheatie berry duvet with my loved one... in this case... booze, in front of tv! heee heeee.
i guess everyone has been busy this week; no one has commented much on the previous blogs. oh well.
i have been busy (besides working at starbucks, and getting harrassed when people complain that we dont have enough competent members in the management team) with moving into and out of my apartments. BAH! lisa and i painted the two ugly doors yesterday. they look fabulous now! it is amazing what stripping paint and repainting doors can do to the appearnce of a place. too bad that it's hard work, else i may consider taking it up as a part time hobby. today will be a LONG and BUSY BUSY day too with moving preparation:
i have changed my address with most of my accounts out there. currently i am trying to decide if i will continue my service with RCN or go with comcast. it seems that everyone uses comcast. afterall, without comcast, i could not have attended the fun free food party at the field museum with cookielicious bob last winter. :) i feel like i am paying more than i should ($99+tax) for my cable/internet/phone package with rcn. maybe that amount is actually reasonable? hmm... rest of today, i need to finish painting the entryway just behind the now-pretty front door. start cleaning up the new place. PACK PACK PACK up my shit at the old place and be ready to move on saturday. *remember*, there is STILL time to help me move on saturday. dont ever question about free food, i will take you to free food. you can always get a rain check too if you have to leave early!!
i hate packing though. stresses me out more than a physio exam or our future therapeutics class. bah!

on the funner and lighter side of things, i *finally* upgraded my phone. NOOOO, it is not that i only like new things, my old trusy LG phone finally gave up on me after struggling with its battery problems for months.
i had been debating whether to upgrade my phone for a while, but always decided against it cuz there's nothing wrong with the LG and it does everything i need it to do. on monday night, for no reason, my LG went into ANALOG mode and had been stuck in it ever since. anywho, after turning it on and off/reset a few times, i still could not dial out and receive any incoming calls or texts. WAH! the battery would drain itself (after a full recharge) in less than 8 hrs. i took it to the store, they couldnt see what's wrong, but told me that the problem is fixable, or i am also eligible for a $100 credit of phone upgrade. well, so i did. i hate all the ring tones on the samsung, but i do like the phone and i will always remember the good and drunken days with the LG. ;)
