home before midnight!??

oh my gosh, finally, last night and tonight, i have actually been able to get home BEFORE midnight! what the...!

who knew i would actually enjoy being home so much? it's so nice- no unwanted noise, no unwated faces, no unwanted traffic. still lots of clutter and boxes, but eh, i can deal with those. at week2, i totally feel the exhaustion.

on monday, our starbucks actually closed our door at 9:30 for some more updating and cleaning. since our store is huge, the "closing" is actually quite the job (now i understand why we might as well stay open all the time). i was doing dishes galore in the back as the boys took apart the espresso machines and were cleaning the store. i eventually left not too long after 11pm while the 3 managers stayed to finish everything they are to do.

then on tuesday was the siren's eye execution day. ha! no, that just means that the NEW fall season phase 1 merchandise has to be rolled out and new promotions displayed. as part of my partner development plan to train to be a shift supervisor, it is now my duty to take ownership of the store promotions layout and such. OH MY GOD, i was there until 3 am!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so fuggin tired still from that night. there was just so much to do: having to unpack all the new things, take down old, find a place to store them, clean shelves and at the same time following the diagram aka "siren's eye" to display!!!!!

soooo, there are lots of new pastries out, be sure to check them out. there are some nice new tumblers and mugs; some are quite ugly, but some are really cute. if you need a coffee brewer, the goody 8cup starbucks aroma is on sale for ONLY *$79*.
