time flies...

dude, time flies. i realized earlier this week that it's been almost 4 wks into school, and my incorrigible bad habit-- procrastination-- is definitely thriving and only getting better!

on a random side note, did you guys know that it costs 25 cents for every FIVE minute to park at a METER in the loop???? jeebus christ!! i was gonna do my pre-employment drug screen on tuesday afternoon cuz i had time before i had to go to starbucks. surprisingly, i found parking right away on wabash, right by where i was going. i threw in a quarter-- "WHAT? 5 minutes??" one qtr only gets me 5 minutes? i counted my change and i only had 5 qtrs. it'd take me 5+/- min to go there, 5+/- min to come back, and i m pretty sure i will be there for more than 10 or 15 min, as i dont know if there would be a wait and how long that might be!

i couldnt chance it cuz right across the street there was a meter maid that had nothing better to do. i swear, all she was doing was walking back and forth, inspecting EVERY single meter every 5 seconds. no kidding! i was like, F it, i will take the L back in the morning. bah!

so after the drug test, i was waiting for the L to get to school. this one woman and i were sitting on the bench facing opposite directions. a woman #2, on my side, walked over politely asked woman #1 if she could sit down next to her (basically, their backs will be slightly touching). woman #1, older, foreign and probably eastern european, became very angry and was like, NO! i dont want you to! you cannot sit here!

woman #2, taken aback, was like, you mean i cant sit here and share the space with you? woman #1, NO!

HAHAHAHHA. i didnt know what to do or what to say. that was weird. its not like woman #1 was large and needed extra room or anything. hahahaha.. strangeness..

blah! i better go study some bacteria now. ugh!!!
