how does one lose a contact?

burrr, its cold outside, boys and girls! it always takes me a few weeks to officially get used to the winter season. then after that, i am fine until i have to deal with spring allergic conjuntivitis. woohooo!

so i have a pseudo funny story re. my contact. the other night i was pseudo studying/reading/watching tv. i fell asleep on my couch in my christmas light-lit living room. i woke up, realized that it was almost 1am, and that i need to take a final the next morning at 8:30, decided to go wash up quickly and retire to bed.

i took my right contact lens out easily. then i jabbed my fingers into my left eye-- ummm, where is it? i stared into the mirror, looked up and down, blinked several times, tried again-- um, there is no contact here on my eyeball!

i was like, whatever, as long as it's in my eye, i am going to sleep.

the next morning, i woke up with my left eye in slight pain. my eyeball hurt! all day my eye felt weird, but after multiple checking there was no evidence of plastic in my eye. i even made clams look for me!

i came home, checked the couch, my pillows, bathroom floor, sink, mirror-- NOTHING! i guess i just randomly lost my left contact lens! then again, the weird thing was that i never took it out!! i opened my eyes, and it was gone!

oh well... its like all nice things and pretty boys in my life...
