unproductive...

today will be a busy, running-around day of christmas errands. blah!

yesterday my attempt to "start" christmas shopping downtown failed completely. i started at 900 n michigan and tried to make my way south to MF's on state. ha, i never even crossed chicago ave. until allenroo joined me for dinner later on.

i tried really hard to not buy myself anything, so i stayed away from bloomingdale's. i went around several stores, hoping to be inspired or reminded of certain gifts for friends and family. sad, i did not buy a single gift. i got some ideas, but did not buy anything for anyone.

hmmm, so today, i have a long afternoon of *mandatory* shopping to do. don't get me wrong; i usually love shopping, but when i *have* to go shopping with the intention that i really really want to buy stuff for people, it stressed me out too much. i only love it when i can casually stroll around, see and pick up cute and fabulous things randomly for friends/family or ME!
