what, sitting and sweating??

so it has been more than 24hrs since i came to houston. home? what's a home? i call it, my parents' house. i have been quite bored and life is lacking luster and excitement, so i shall blog random words at will...

boy, it's warm here. i think according to weather.com, it is currently 60F.

HAHAHHA, dont worry. this is *unusual*. unusually warm. contrary to many beliefs from people foreign to the republic of texas, houston does get cold in the winter. not nearly as cold as real wintry climates, such as chicago or new york or pseudo wisconsin. average chill in houston should be like mid to upper 30s or low 40s. and bad nights we get below freezing. this 60 degree spring weather is unusual, but worry not, it looks like the temps will drop to 30s and we will have a cold, proper christmas afterall! :)

however, i have to admit- it's nice to be able to run outside without 5 layers again. i ran around our subdivision today and i nearly died of heat stroke. or maybe i was just too out of shape- i can't believe i got tired after only 5 min?? then half way around, my shin started to kill, and my mizunos were squeaky. sigh... as i predetermined-- i must take advantage of this week with having lots of space and do lots of abs and calisthenics to get rid of my gut. really, maybe i am not fat, but i am frustrated with self when it comes to keeping up with slimming my tummy. i am happy with other parts of self, but whats wrong with the gut!

i think i will make curtains this week too. i think i might be able to have the car today. i was looking at pictures for window treatment ideas and boy, i got totally confused and stressed. bah!!! should i have straight rigid fabric or longer flowy fabric? what shade(s)? what combination? gah. maybe i will go to the store to see if anything inspires me...

i should also finish shopping for the parents if im out there... hmmph..
