the jingles...
gaahhh, the heat wave!
it's been hot... very hot... and humid here for the last couple of days. how i miss the autumn breeze and falling red leaves. i do enjoy summer and all its fun outdoor activities, but man, having to sweat when i lift a finger is quite bothersome. sweat sweat, pant pant.
besides sweating, this wknd had been alright. i can still use more sleep. on friday, after work, i went downtown to meet wendy and debbie at the taste (the annual taste of chicago for those of you unfamiliar) to see LL Cool J. i don't really know any of his music; i remember some of the sounds, but i dont' think i ever knew the lyrics. however, debbie is a *BIG* fan. and i mean HUGE. faith evans and some random DJs were performing before LL finally came on. the wait seemed like forever. anywho, when LL finally appeared, most girls started screaming. deb was totally freakin' out. "he's my favorite!!!!!" how cute.
but i must say... man, what a hot body. LL isn't that big, but very nice arms and back! oww owwwww... yes, when he threw his nasty ass sweaty towels (he must had at least 20), people were freaking out. i cant believe these girls were even smelling the towel in joy. bleh.
afterwards, went to tracey's for a pseudo bbq. unfortunately, when i called her at 9pm or so, she hasn't started the grill. why? well, apparently she does not know how to start the grill... @#$U%^$%^& i guess she could've informed us this fact, so we can arrange to show up earlier or whatever. lat night dinner indeed.

saturday after work, i finally had my appt with matt for some extra swim help. i think my stroke is probably not very efficient or i could use some improvement in my techniques. my arms always feel very tired when i pull through water (not so much when taking my arms out of water like people). i think i still have some watery jitters, but the session was very helpful and i learned a few things. then afterwards, i enjoyed a short nap and a nice grilled burger with corn at the noverinis. lovely! :)
the tri is in 2 wks, so i still can't help but "pseudo" worry!!! i have devised the following jingle (well, no music, really) to celebrate the danskin tri:
