sleeeeeeep...

man, this hot and humid weather seriously makes me drowsy and lethargic all day long... everyday!!! oy!!

last night we went to ravinia for some crisp notes of bach goldberg concerto, then i stayed at barbarini's house. we were planning on doing a morning swim today, but since both of us were super tired, we slept and decided to go later in the morning. well, too bad, after barbie's multiple conference calls, the storm was coming our way to boofooland. the rain started coming down and thunders were heard. too dangerous to swim in open water, as apparently lightening does strike frequently in their open sky and open grass land!! wahhh.

after not too much deliberation, barbsbie told me to go home. no swimming... maybe i will drown at our next triathlon in aug!!!

anywho, after i came home, i continued to pass out, nap, sleep, snore on and off for multiple hours. yikes! i just felt sooooo drowsy, so tired all afternoon... not to mention the headache that would not go away!! good gosh, how can i be so lazy?

after multiple hrs of slumber, i decided to go for a pseudo short run, cuz i needed to go to the bank to deposit some checks and there would be no way to find parking in the evening. the temp has cooled down so the run felt nice; unfortunately i was too lazy to wanna run farther than to the bank. eh, i will go biking tomorrow or something. i probably also forgot how to ride a bike... :(

since i have nothing else to update, as my life as been quite lacking in luster, i will tell you about this high tech pillow i recently purchased. ha!

this is a pillow filled with millions of micro beads!! i guess these crazy little bead technology came out around christmas when those "sqush" neck and huggy pillows were popular at sharper image and brookstone. anywho, few wks ago i had been having trouble staying asleep and my pillows either too big or too thin and old and they were really hurting my neck and back. instead of buying more cheapies from TJMAxx, i decided to buy something a bit nicer. this pillow is quite cool; even though it feels really soft, the beads actually cradle around the head/neck and provides good support. the only drawback is that it's smaller than a standard sized pillow so my pillow case is way too big for it and it looks ugly on the arranged bed. eh...

tomorrow is another off day, and sunny too i think. i guess i will try to wake up earlier and ride along the lake. then get some cancerous tan before perhaps going shopping downtown. need to visit nike for a swim suit and other accessories, and nordstrom for some cute yet non-formal looking professional wear. and shoes! bah.
