happy day after christmas?

greetings all. the day after christmas (though it is really now tuesday) was good for most too, i hope? did anyone have a chance to go snatch up some day-after-christmas mad rush sales? not me.

well, we went to stupid katy mills outlet mall very briefly just to browse. seriously, i can't do outlet mall shopping anymore!! i am getting too old yet not old enough with kids and fam to enjoy this sorta madness. unfortunately, halfway through BR outlet, mom got some calls from coworker and she had to rush back to the office. crazy sales people.

rest of the day was spent, again, lounging. i went for a nice run this afternoon. the weather had been very nice. i do love cold, white christmas times, but i miss running outside! however, the transitions btwn soft pave (chicago lakefront) and treadmills, treadmills and hard concrete (our subdivision sidewalks) are always very difficult. i ran very briefly 2 days ago, but i didnt feel too much leg pain and i might have been to distracted by my sore throat and trouble breathing due to it. today, only after few blocks, my knees and ankles started to hurt. luckily, after a mile or so warming up, my legs felt better. i DO need a new pr of shoes though!!

my pseudo rash and breakouts still have not gone away. i think the red bumps on my chest got more noticeable and worse today. my sore throat is better. man, i really hope they go away soon.

tomorrow... or really today, tuesday... mom is off and wants to go to the galleria. yayyy, finally, a real mall with real stores. too bad the crowd is out of control now. then wednesday, i come to chicago! yay! :)
