what happened this last month!?

finally! i have decided to force myself away from laziness for an update. the main event that took place in the month of may included (not all):

1) last set of finals EVER! (well, unless i decide to pursue another degree, which is unlikely)
2) attending southside andy and gina's wedding
3) rear ended my car on the way home
4) vacation in cinque terre, italy and greece
5) got a fabulous tan that is now fading away
6) started my first rotation at C V S.

if you wanna hear the more detailed stories and funnies of greece, take me out to a ball game or martinis. until then, here are some fun pictures :)

cinque terre is a set of 5 villages monterosso, vernazza, corneglia, manarloa, riomaggiore (north to south) that is linked together by a hiking trail has been established as an italian national park. as you hike you can enjoy the beautiful coastal view against the steep cliff.


next stop and the main stop: GREECE!!!! wheeee!!!!


hungry for GREEEEEEK!!! our first meal in athens and we were starving!!!! i need my dolmades NOW!!
besides the stalker cat that pee'd next to clambake and the strange dog that stared at my food, the meal was quite enjoyable. :)

the left picture is the capital of SANTORINI- fira,

and the right picture was the famous sunset from ia, at the northwest edge of santorini. gorgeous.


the island of santorini is essentially cliffs that rose sharply from the aegean sea. the houses are built on top of the cliffs.
























me and wendy jumped off the boat and swam in the thermal springs of an active volcano off the coast of santorini, while clams took pictures of us... here calantha and i are "almost" like rock stars on the black beach...












back to athens-- here i am in front of the acropolis ahhh, too many ancient ruins.

ok, i hope you had fun with some of the pix from the trip. i think i should go to bed. or concentrate on my losing my gut! ahhhh!!!
