a BIG baby...

well, mother's friend mr. c h i n has finally let me pick up his golden. the little golden that we have been talking about all summer.

stooops was kind enough to drive with me to far far away land of ohio on this roadtrip. you guys know how i feel about roadtrips. blah. we stopped by cincinnati first to play with her cousin susan and her two little kids, jacob and sammy. they are quite enjoyable. so blond and so pretty.

we went to this heart attack chain famous in ohio, skyline chili. afterwards, continued building our atherosclerotic plaques at graters for ice cream. mmmm... all the protein overload has helped us decide to go home, play with the children and pass out on the couches. i was just so tired for some reason. oy!

then after dinner with susan and her brother, we moved on to dayton to mother's friend's house. basically, this guy has 3 dogggs: a chow chow and two golden retrievers. when i half jokingly mentioned to mother that i wanted a dog, more specifically a golden retriever, i freaked out when she said, oh perfect my friend wants to give his golden retriever away. ummm...

anywho, she is cute!! she is quite large already, but still behaves like a puppy. when i tried to take her out for walks earlier this afternoon and evening, she was all over the place. but hopefully after she has smelled all her routes at least once she wont be as crazy anymore.

FINALLY, since i am so stressed out and extremely tired, i shall begin to do my tons of work and journal clubs. AHHHHHHH!!!
