happy labor day...

so what else has happened since my last post?

happily, c h i l d r e n' s is OVER!!! waaahooooooooooooooooo!!!! thank goodness. now, if only those people would actually respond to my email or acknowledge the receipt of it and return me my evaluations that they couldnt even finish for me!! %@$)$^%@$%&* ugh ugh ugh!!!

sunday the 27th was the accenture chicago triathlon!! what a long anticipated event every year! this year there were ~8000 participants with supposedly over 30,000 spectators! i really do wish that i am more confident with my swim so that i can jump on such band wagon. anywho, wendy, karen, and i did the team relay. with 0.9 mile swim, 25 mile bike, 6 mile run.



we were in the transition area at 4:30am!!!!!!!! it's still freakin' dark, just off randolph by monroe harbor. here is the swimming; where in the world is wendos!?

our time wasn't so much spectacular, but it was actually fun!!! the expo was, of course, exciting with so many goodies to free taste, to take away, and shiny bikes to envy, and men in their early, mid 30s. come to mama! or really, teach me to swim!

later on, after a trip to cold stone with wendos (our after-race carb load?) and a brief nap home, time to head out for sara's birthday at carnivale! i love this place! their food tasted a bit salty this time but the mojitos are soooo good! mmmmm. it was a little slow on sunday night and not much eye candy, but the company and ambience was great still.



finally, what else for labor day wknd? friday after work i played with sou in forest park/oak park to avoid labor traffic. then later on met up with a pseudo friend for a prelude for his participation in his friend's bach's party. hahahaaa, such political correct words.

saturday, we went to a last minute cubs game! the weather was perfect!!!! and of course, since stooops wasnt able to play, this picture was dedicated for her. <3
